Conference and Workshop Venues
The venues are the Core Technology Facility (for workshops on 11–12 November) and the Whitworth Art Gallery (for iFM on 13–15 November and FMAS on 13 November).
The University of Manchester is centrally located and easily accessible via train, bus and tram from other parts of the city. We provide suggested hotel accommodation below but there are many accommodation options throughout the city to suit all budgets.
- Hyatt Regency Hotel — this hotel is a 15 minute walk from the venue. Book at this link, check the box for ‘individual bookings’ and follow the instructions there.
- Holiday Inn Express — this hotel is also quite close, a 20 minute walk.
Some other hotel options include Moxy Manchester City, Hilton Manchester Deansgate, and Leonardo Hotel Manchester Central, located closer to Manchester city center. These are at least a 30 minute walk from the venues, but a number of buses run from the city center to the conference venues. See the TFGM website for up-to-date transport information for Manchester.
